My little place on the interwebs
I finally got around to ordering from RapidLED last week and my parcel arrived on Friday. As I found time over the weekend, I did a little work on the system. My order from Rapid was a solderless 48 LED dimmable kit with daylight controller. It’s a good thing I took my time with ordering as if I had ordered back when I received my MakersLED heatsink, I would have received their older solderless kit.

I took delivery of my Raspberry Pi on Thursday which was pretty good considering I had only ordered the afternoon prior. During the day I went out and grabbed a 16Gb SanDisk Ultra flash SDHC memory card with plans on installing Rasbmc. At first I was getting weird USB errors and after a short troubleshooting session with the aid of fellow Pi users on the Internet I was able to isolate the problem to being a dodgy micro USB cable.
